Base Inspection and Cleaning:

• Inspect the base for any major damage, scratches, or dirt.
• Clean the base using a soft brush to remove dirt and debris.

Edge Maintenance:

• Check the edges for any dullness or burrs.
• Use a diamond stone or edge tool to lightly sharpen the edges.
• Remove any burrs or rough spots along the edges.

Waxing:

• Apply wax to the base of the snowboard or skis to improve glide and protect the base.
• Choose an appropriate wax for the snow conditions.
• Melt the wax onto the base using a waxing iron and spread it evenly.
• Let the wax cool and then scrape off excess wax using a plastic scraper.

Buffing:

• Use a brush or cork to buff the wax into the base, enhancing glide and durability.

Final Inspection:

• Inspect the snowboard or skis to ensure all steps have been completed properly.
• Check for any remaining damage or imperfections.

Test Run:

• Take the snowboard or skis for a test run to ensure they perform well on the snow.
• Make any final adjustments if necessary.
